WoW – Cataclysm revealed! 22 august, 2009

At the Blizzcon: Blizzard’s official trailer for the new expansion, Catalysm.

• The Alliance will get a new race, the Worgens; the Horde will get the Goblins.
• Area: Gilneas. I like how it looks, dark, rainy, tall pointy buildings, the feeling is very Forsaken-like.
• Area: Lost Isles. I`ll be rolling a Goblin alt just for that lush tropical island, I`m a big fan of these maps in World of Wacraft.
• Level cap increased to 85, hundreds of new quests. Only 85, I was hoping 90.
• Flying mounts in Azeroth. Many people, including myself, wished to explore Azeroth on flying mounts, soon it will be possible. The old maps will be redone but the continents will be modified.
• A new secondary profession: Archaeology “to unearth valuable artifacts and earn unique rewards”. Seems like Mining.
