Shamelessly copy pasted from my boyfriend, he went on the PTR to check Ulduar out and killed the Flame Leviathan, the first boss of the instance in the 10 man version.
Tactics and tips after the jump.
the gauntlet to the boss is retarded easy
VEHICLES !!!
need to use for this fight
2 siege engines
2 catapults
2 bikes
on each siege engine need 1 more person to control the gun
on each catapult need (besides the driver) 1 healer 1 dps
so that`s your 10 ppl
the boss, as u can see in the screenie is a tank.
the fight
the siege engines are tanks . .as soon as boss enters the room he will agro one of the siege engines, those siege engines need to kite the boss around the room. they have an ability that speeds up u`r kiting (use it to get out of corners)
the catapults – they dps the boss, and as soon as the fight starts they can catapult that healer n 1 dps on the boss to take out his turrets.
the bikes ! dps – they help the kiters, they can put TAR down on the ground to slow down the boss, also the tar can be ignited by catapults and deal dmg to boss
that`s all there is to it, kite, take out turrets n dps boss !
the room where u fight the boss is a square shaped courtyard, and u can`t get out during the fight.
update ! – during the boss fight the tanks needs fuel, above the courtyard there are some flying thingyes that carry fuel, those need to be shot down by the cannon ppl on the siege engines
also the hard mode is not enabled yet, so no need to destroy the 4 big towers
vehicle powers scale with your iLVL !!!!
Sincer Maddy, ma cam dezamagesc luptele astea cu vehicule sau dragoni. Hai sa ne amintim de vanilla WoW putin si sa comparam
Faptul ca vehiculul e mai tare functie de iLVL e tot un fel de palma data omului care joaca. Iti trebe echipament, ilvl, nu skill.
Eu ma rezumam sa bag vehiculele in daily quests si eventual la unul 2-3 bosi optionali sau fun, asa cum era chess event in Kara.

mm, alexutu … merge si pe EU, trebuie sa schimbi numa lista de severe

@Duma – nu cred ca merge, sunt build-uri diferite, iar downloaderul pt patch va face download la patchul US, nu GB
@alexutu, merge cu siguranta, nu-l cumpara aiurea. Modifica realmlist.wtf si o sa faca download de pe EU. Pui serverele europene in loc de US.

Is there any way you can repair your vehicles? (blizz fails on the patch bigtime)
during the fight no. before engaging flame leviathan, after the gauntlet, you have a big circle on the right side, sit on it with your vehicle and you get healed.
there are plenty of abilities (like the speed buff) to help you stay alive, your role isn`t to make much damage, it is to help the kiters by putting oil.
when the boss hit me, i would take some distance and then return and i managed to survive the whole fight with a minimum effort.
