WoW – Patch 3.1 ?

Well what a surprise. Seems that the notes from Patch 3.1 of World of Warcraft were leaked. This is the patch we are all waiting for because we`ll be able to go to Ulduar and kick some Iron Dwarves ass! The full notes are here.

Apart from Ulduar, the Ruby Sanctum under Wyrmrest Temple is not open and containing some angry red dragon and Crystalsong Forest finally gets some action – PvP there is. The long anticipated dual specializations will be available, you`ll be able to change specs while not in combat. I think I`ll use the second spec for more feral DPS in cat form. Haste Rating, Armor Penetration Rating and Spell Penetration became one, Potency Rating. Good thing, should be easier to run after 1 stat than after 2 (in my case haste and penetration).

In druid related news, shapeshifting won`t cost mana but it will have a cooldown of 3 seconds. Not sure how this affects PvE since i`m in the same form (either cat or bear from the beginning of the raid till the end) but it clearly has an impact on PvP and arenas where you must shapeshift fast to escape. Swipe will hit all targets within a 5 yard radius, pew pew big numbers, the damage is increased too. Berserk will reduce the cost of all Bear Form abilities by 50%, which is better than how is it now, since Maul and Swipe get me a lot of aggro while tanking.

Interesting changes, if they are 100% true and won`t be altered too bad when the patch 3.1 hits, I am looking forward to seeing them.
