I returned to one of my old hobbies in game, fishing. It`s the most boring trade skill ever but I want to get this to 375 too. I got to 359 while fishing Golden Darters for the healers and various other fish for me (Stamina food). I hope to get lobster vanity pet, until then, I am more than glad when fishing for Furious Crawdad, hefty 30 STA buff!
fishing… hobby…. fishing… does not compute. my 70 warrior has a mighty skill of 7 and i have no plan of getting it higher. the (30) mage has 70-something, so she’ll probably get to 375 someday… when i’m *really* bored… but really, i can’t imagine anything more tedious. it was a bit difficult to level cooking to 375 without proper fishing skill, but i managed.
Boring! I hate this profession but i must admit that is very useful! If 30 STA buff is all that u want quit fishing and buy 30 STA food from sha’tary skyguard :p
sha`tari skyguards have only 15 sta food buff. it was 20 but they nerfed it.http://www.wowwiki.com/Skyguard_Rations
so crawdad and fisherman`s feast are the only foods that increase STA and they both rely on fishing.
I find fishing pretty relaxing
And also, in combination with cooking its easily one of the most rewarding professions when it comes to gold.
On a good day, a quick Nagrand “raid” can give me around 5 primal waters in no more than 20 – 30 mins. Thats atleast 150g on my server. And after that I can just go to Skettis and the 2 lackes near the towns and fish some Golden Darters and Furious Crawdads … 100g in 20, 30 mins from there too. Not to mention that the fishing daily is easy and gives atleast 15g and some other possible valuable items.
Anyway, since I took up fishing I could afford to loose Skinning and get Engineering (also have LW) so I can spoil my rogue with nifty gadgets and those awesome goggles

Total = Sorted to become one of the richest players on my server by December 2008.
